It's that time of the year. Everyone has their own list of best books, and the
New York Times has
put up what it thinks is best. Toni Morrison's
A Mercy is there, so is Joseph O Neill's
Netherland, and Jhumpa Lahiri's
Unaccustomed Earth; in non-fiction, Patrick French's comprehensive biography of VS Naipaul,
The World is What it is.

Hari, what about your own top 10 books of the year ?
I do have a list I want to put up; unfortunately, I am just too lazy. Besides I wrote a post earlier about books I've read this year that pretty much summarizes my favorites.
